VariJar™ High Angle Linear Jar
Features
• Roller bearings to minimise the friction between the jar and rod
• Increased stroke achieving higher impacts during jarring
• Housing design allows the jar to close freely in higher angle wells
• Slotted housing to prevent solids entering and jamming the jar mechanism
• Patented VariBall self-aligning top and bottom subs minimise friction
Benefits
• Reduces cost compared to coil tubing operations
• Routinely deals with operations in high deviation angle wells
• Reduced frictional drag deploying into the well
The Hunting VariJar High Angle Linear Jar enhances extended reach and jarring efficiency during slickline operations in high angle wells.
Successful intervention operations in high deviation wells are now performed utilising the VariBall / VariJar System. This means operators can now reliably service high deviation wells without the requirement for costly coil tubing operations.
Features include an increased stroke providing higher impact force achieved during jarring. Roller bearings to minimise the friction between the jar rod and housing allowing the jar to close freely in higher angle wells. Slotted housing as opposed to circular ports to allow fluid ingress and egress therefore preventing solids entering the jar and causing jamming of the jar mechanism.
VariBall™ self-aligning top and bottom subs minimise friction between jar housing and tubing wall.
Offers flexibility and adaptability with easily interchangeable roller sizes and a variety of roller sizes for each chassis.
Hunting VariJar High Angle Linear Jars are available in all common industry toolstring sizes and are manufactured with either sucker rod or integral quick connections as per customer requirements.
