The Hunting Impression Block allows the operator to take an impression of unknown objects within the well.
The impression definition helps the operator to select the appropriate tool for the next operation and accomplish the desired objective.
A lead impression block consists of a steel cylinder with an open bottom end, which is filled with soft lead. The top end has a customer specified thread connection complete with fish neck.
Various diameters are available to suit operational requirements.
