The Hunting Star Bit Chisel is designed to break up compacted sand deposits and other debris that may have formed within the completion tubing.
A star bit chisel consists of a short bar mandrel with a machined bore with elongated windows for fluid and debris by-pass.
The upset gauge ring on the bottom is sized for the application and has a star shaped (crossed) chisel end.
Customer specified connections and fish neck at top.
The star bit chisel should be run in conjunction with a Hunting broaching tool or gauge cutter to confirm that obstruction has been totally cleared.
