The Hunting Heavy-Duty releasable spear is designed to engage assemblies that have damaged fish necks or no fish necks. Designed to withstand the high impact forces associated with fishing operations, the Heavy-Duty Releasable Spear includes a ‘jar down to release’ feature allowing the operator to attach the tool directly to the tool string.
Once sheared, the positive lock feature ensures that the slips remain fully retracted, allowing the tool string and Spear Slips to disengage from the fish facilitating an unhindered recovery of the tool string to surface.
